GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE

All pages of this website (the “Site”) are published by SYNESIS snc on behalf of the Committee of the SMART Congress, represented by StartPromotion srl.

The use of the Site and the faculty to download materials and information from it are regulated by the general conditions reported here below. Please, look over them and, in case of non-acceptance of such conditions, you are invited not to use the Site and not to download any material from it.

If you use the Site, the general conditions here stated will be intended as entirely accepted. Since terms and conditions of use of the Site can be changed by StartPromotion srl on behalf of SMART at any time and without notice, we recommend that you look over them at any access to the Site. If you continue using the Site, the general conditions will be entirely accepted as changed.

1. Access to the Site

StartPromotion srl reserves the right to discontinue the access to the Site discretionally at any time and without notice, to deactivate part of the Site or to make accessible all or part of the site in protected mode (subject to registration).

The information and data present on the Site (the “Information”) are collected, released and periodically updated in good faith, with the only purpose to favor the acknowledgement of all technical, scientific and operative issues related with Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy through SMART.

The Information may also come from other qualified third parties, which are mentioned expressly and are then clearly identifiable. In any case, the Information is not controlled by independent reviewers.

The Information is not and cannot be interpreted as a recommendation in favor of particular lines of professional conduct, nor as an offer or recommendation to purchase any instrument, product or specialty from companies participating in the Virtual Exhibit within the Site (the “Exhibiting Companies”).

Information relevant to services accessible from the Site does not represent a commitment to ensure their availability in all countries.

Information made available within the Virtual exhibit of the Site comes from the Exhibiting Companies, which are accountable for data and information reported. Therefore, neither StartPromotion srl nor SYNESIS snc can in any way be deemed accountable for any damage, losses or expenditures complained by those who gain access or use (or cannot gain access or use) such data and/or information.

4. Intellectual property rights

All contents of the Site, including (as an example but not exclusively) drawings, texts, images, audios and videos, are property of or legitimately available to StartPromotion srl.

Downloading and printing of the contents of the Site is allowed, provided that: (a) they are used only for personal purposes and not exploited commercially; (b) they are not altered in any way; (c) any possible copyright or franchise marks are not removed.

Exception to the above are represented by the presentations accessible in the Virtual Auditorium of the Site, which remains at any title property of the corresponding speakers, who forbid any download or print, even partial, except when explicitly stated.

All communications and materials you forward to the Site will be considered as non-confidential. You will be considered accountable for their content and truthfulness, as well as for any possible infringement of the intellectual property rights of third parties.

6. Applicable laws and competent forum

As far as interpretation, fulfillment and resolutions of terms, and conditions of access are concerned, the applicable laws are exclusively the Italian laws.

The forum of Milan will be competent for any disputation regarding interpretation, fulfillment and resolutions of terms, and conditions of access to the Site.
